Notes: A professor takes off for a conference, only to find a couple squatting in his apartment when he returns. But instead of kicking them out, he lets them stay, finding some joy in his widowed life. The Visitor comes across as a warm-hearted drama of the type that makes the repertory theater circuit. I love these types of movies, as a balance to all the thrillers and horrors I tend to watch.
