Notes: The horror movie offerings in 2008 to date have been mostly lame. I’m so hoping this one is worth it. It at least seems different than the crap of Cloverfield and the not-that-scary remakes of The Eye and Shutter. The setting is ancient ruin in Mexico, which makes me think of From Dusk Till Dawn, though there’s no vampires here - I don’t think.
