Notes: It’s really hard to tell whether this one is worth seeing. It almost comes across as apologist for the historically notorious behavior of the LAPD. I’d see it for Forest Whitaker alone, but Keanu Reeves is no better an actor than in the past, and I prefer Hugh Laurie as a comedian. The trailers for Street Kings seem to have nothing enticing or original, at least to me. Having a lot of new-school rappers in the cast might seem cred but always turns me off. Though as I always say, never trust the trailers.
