Green With Envy? Kim Cattrall Scores More for Sex+City Movie

While Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are getting paid $2 mil apiece for their role in the currently-filming Sex and the City movie, Kim Cattrall is getting $6 mil. She was the lone holdout a couple of years ago, when the movie was on hold for various reasons. But Sarah Jessica Parker is taking the lion’s share of the fees: almost $10 milion plus $5 mil for producing. I suppose if you’re the producer, you get to decide.

But here’s something crazy: I never liked either Cattrall’s or Parker’s roles on the show. I watched only because of Kristin Davis (as Charlotte York) and to a lesser degree Cynthia Nixon, when the latter’s character, Miranda Hobbes, was dating the quiet Steve Brady (David Eigenberg). So will I be watching the movie? Only if Charlotte’s getting naked. Though Davis told the irritating Cojo on TV the other night that she couldn’t say if nudity would be happening.
