DVD vs Blu-ray: Who Won?

Blu-ray was supposed to be the media format that would trounce all other formats, such as DVD. Or so Sony said. But now, Sony CEO Howard Stringer is calling the next-gen DVD race a tie. The reason for this is partly due to industry politics, Sony claims, as well as large price cuts for HD DVD.
